You will be spoilt for choice here at Gunton Hall Coastal Village as all you food is prepared by a team of professional chefs, it does not matter if you wish a full roast diner or just a snack.
Recently stayed at gunton hall everything was lovely will definitely be back in particular our waiter Elliott was fabulous nothing was too much trouble. It was great having activities included and the swimming pool was lovely and all staff very helpful.
So we yet again visit Gunton Hall, but this time we stayed in the Willow Cottage. We had three rooms which were all very roomy and everyone felt they were good value for money. Food as normal was good with plenty of choice. We were on table 139 and was served by the lovely Olivia who was friendly and couldn't do enough for you. It was the first performance of the the Queen tribute show for the entertainments team and wow it was fantastic and they pulled this off with flying colours. And great to see something new as we were all getting bored of songs from the west end etc, and the entertainment team also said they loved doing something new and fresh too.
The star of the weekend for us was George in day time entertainment, he seemed to be everywhere from quizzes , games etc to dance lessons, he was very funny and was also professional at the same time.
We stayed here on 4th of November for four nights, from arrival to departure it was perfect,, the reception process was smooth, we had a garden lodge with suite terrace and lake view, beautiful views and great accommodation, we had a reserved table for the evening shows, these were amazing Tony Jacobs and various big bands.great shows and great music.
The restaurant was lovely and the food top class, our waiter Harrison was the nicest man, couldn't do enough, you can have waiter service or buffet, great choice, never got bored with the selection, lovely grounds to walk around and enjoy, and plenty of activities, but above all the nicest staff , do anything for you, we will return for sure.
I visited Gunton Hall on my own for 1 week and it suited my purpose to go out regularly visiting Suffolk and Norfolk. This site is not in my opinion for just sitting around, whilst the staff try their best to accommodate everyone's requests it's not easy to resolve all issues and I must admit the "Haddock" situation which has been reported as far back as early September still exists however 7miles away in Great Yarmouth the fresh fish market stall has no problems whatsoever with this particular item. Please don't keep giving the same reason " shortage of lorry drivers".
The place was clean tidy and of a standard that I could accept and the entertainment team seemed to work well together.
