Gunton Hall has a great range of activates for you, some more energetic that others.
We have just returned from an excellent break at Gunton Hall in Suffolk. The food was first class well prepared and well served, the accommodation was comfortable and clean. The staff are highly trained and extremely friendly. The entertainment was brilliant we enjoyed listening to the in house entertainment team. There was also a wonderful tribute group singing the songs of The Drifters. Then, as if to live up to his title of, The King of Rock and Roll, we were treated to a marvellous Elvis Presley tribute act.
We enjoyed this wonderful show for our final night of this festive break. We soaked up the music and magic of Elvis Presley, performed by Mark Summers, backed by the Memphis Sons; an excellent tribute band,
Mark Summers, the Elvis Presley, lookalike and sound-alike was magnificent, full of the energy and sophistication required to pull off brilliant renditions of legendary song after legendary song; bringing many pleasant dormant memories to life. The audience were mainly from the age that experienced these massive hits when they were performed by the great man himself.
Mark Summers had his audience waving their arms in the air while singing along to the well-remembered words of these Elvis Presley classics. With the help of an attractive lady backing singer and the brilliant sounds of his backing group, the Memphis Sons. Margaret and I enjoyed this show enormously and we finished the evening dancing pleasurably to the music as this enigmatic singer performed the encores demanded by his smitten audience.
Just got back from a 4 day break celebrating our wedding anniversary, absolutely impressed with everything, food amazing, grounds beautiful, we did everything, archery, rifle shooting, pool, sauna.. Flowers and grounds stunning, standard room was beautiful and clean (Cedar 6 ) And more weather was lovely too. WI Fi everywhere , Can't praise the staff enough, entertainment team brilliant, they couldnt have done more. met some lovely people too.although we are only 54 and 59 and do not have mobility issues there was plenty of ramps and access to everything. Watching the "older generation" doing ballroom dancing was fabulous , could put a few youngsters to shame .loved it.. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you Warners!
This was our first attempt at staying at Warners. Staff very friendly and attentive right from the word go. Wife has food allergies and the chef made a point of coming to the table each evening and if necessary cooking something not on the menu. Stayed in a beautiful Signature room with sofa, tables, chairs, TV, mini-fridge, safe, twin beds (our choice) Lovely bathroom and shower. 3 day visit Frid/Sat/Sun. Entertainment absolutely brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend.
